Does everyone have to be a member of FREQUENCY in order to have access to the site?
Yes.

If I was a member of the previous FREQUENCY site, will I need to set up my membership account again?
Yes.  Because we have made several administrative changes for the new site, all previous FREQUENCY members will need to establish a new BASIC membership account.

What is the purpose of the subscription part of the site?
As you know, in order to include lyrics and chord charts of copyrighted material, license agreements are required with all copyright holders.  Royalties will be paid according to all license agreements for songs that are included on this site (in print or in streaming audio).  In addition, there are administrative costs for web design, personnel, and office space.  The purpose of the monthly subscription is to help cover these costs.

What can I access if I would like to be a BASIC (free) MEMBER and not a SILVER (subscription) MEMBER?
FREQUENCY RADIO (new to FREQUENCY) is an online MP3 player which will have a new playlist each week. Also, BASIC membership will continue to include Featured Links, plus the News section which includes  the Chord Chart of the Week and the Theme of the Week, and the EVENTS section.

Can my whole band use my membership, or does FREQUENCY require that each band member have his or her own account?
We encourage each band member to have his or her own BASIC (free) account.  We ask that no more than 4 individuals use one (the same) SILVER membership.  Frequency has the right at any time to terminate any account for misusing or overusing the account beyond the requested 4 users.  This policy may change (as we are constantly evaluating what is best for our membership).

Is a credit card or debit card required for the SILVER level of membership?
Yes.  You must submit your credit card or debit card information on our secure site in order to set up SILVER membership.  Your credit card or debit card will be billed monthly.  A 30-day notice is required to cancel your membership.  In other words, please submit your cancellation notice to Frequency at the time you wish to cancel.  Your credit card or debit card will be billed on the next billing cycle.  Your credit card or debit card will be charged the final bill during the next 30 days.

Is a credit card or debit card required for the BASIC level of membership?
No.
